I’ve created a simple report to convert a date to the users timezone identified on their person record.

    FROM_TZ(CAST(TO_DATE(‘” + startDate + “‘, ‘MM/DD/YYYY’) AS TIMESTAMP), ‘US/Mountain’) AT TIME ZONE (select timezone from person where personid = ‘” + maxuser + “‘)

The command works fine when I run the report from BIRT or in Maximo. But when I schedule the report, it returns no date/time value. Anybody have an idea why?

    Hi Luana,

Did you mean you shcheduled report to be sent automatically via email and when you receive file (PDF or Excel), you had got no date/time value?

I have an idea that you should use the tool SQL Server Profiler in SQL Server package to trace the activities related to the database of Maximo at the time you scheduled for the report.

I experienced that you got blank report because of SQL statement is return nothing or it was not executed or executed with something wrong. You should try to use SQL Server Profiler to trace which SQL Statement is run at the time of report execute.
